At the final meeting of the 2004-05 Ski Jumping World Cup Bjorn Einar Romoren (Norway) set a new mark at 234.5 m (769.3 ft).Then Matti Hautamaeki (Finland) put the record up to 235.5 m (772.6 ft) before Romoren re-took the record with a leap of 239 m (784.1 ft).
