Breeders' Cup firsts

The 2003 Breeders' Cup produced two firsts.Julie Krone,who rode Halfbridled to victory in the Juvenille Fillies race,was the first woman to ride a winner at the event.One race ended in a dead heat - the first in Breeders' Cup history.
